Aufbau und Funktion:
Die Verriegelung besteht aus einem Grundkörper
(Gehäuse), einem Handrad, einem Adapter, einer
Drehmomentstütze sowie ein bis zwei Schlüsseln.
Adapter und Drehmomentstütze bilden die Verbindung
zu dem Ventil. Über das Handrad kann das Ventil bei
Freigabe betätigt werden. Das Gehäuse ist mit 2
Schlüsselschächten versehen. Nur wenn sich beide
Schlüssel in der Verriegelung befinden kann das
Ventil betätigt werden. Während der Betätigung sind
beide Schlüssel in der Verriegelung gefangen. Erst
wenn eine Endlage des Ventils erreicht ist kann der
entsprechende Schlüssel entnommen werden. Der
andere Schlüssel ist gefangen. Dabei ist der obere
Schlüssel für die offene, der untere für die
geschlossene Position vorgesehen.
Hinweis:
Die Sicherheit der Gesamteinrichtung ist abhängig
von der festgelegten Ablauffolge der Verriegelungen.
Die Sicherheit ist ebenfalls abhängig von einem
korrekt justierten Zählwerk. (Siehe
Montageanweisung)
Handradbetätigte Verriegelungen sperren rastend.
Nach Schlüsselentnahme ist ein leichtes Drehen des
Handrads zum Verriegeln notwendig.

Construction and function:
The interlock consists of a body (housing), a
handwheel, an adaptor, an anchor and 1 or 2 keys.
The adaptor and anchor build up the connection to the
valve. If the application is unlocked, the valve can be
operated by the handwheel. The body has two key
holes. The valve can only be operated if both keys are
in the lock. While operation both keys are trapped in
the lock. After the valve is operated to one of the end
positions the accordant key can be released. The
valve is now locked in that position. The other key is
trapped. The top key is for the open position, the
bottom key for the closed position.
Note:
The safety process of the plant depends on the
determined sequence of interlocks.
The safety also depends on a correctly adjusted meter
(see assembly instructions). Hand-wheel operated
valve interlocks lock by blocking. A slight turn is
necessary after removal of the key.
