I N S E R T I N G B A T T E R I E S
The RF Optical Presenter requires three AAA batteries to operate. Refer to the following instructions
and illustrations for inserting the batteries:
1. Turn the Presenter over.
2. Open the battery compartment. Press (A) with your thumb and slide in the direction of the arrow (B).
3. Insert three AAA batteries into the compartment.
Ensure that you orient the batteries according to the polarity markings inside the battery
compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover.
S E T T I N G U P
Your receiver connects the RF Optical Presenter to the USB or PS/2 mouse port on your computer.
Note!
Insert the batteries before turning on the Presenter. Refer to the pre-vious section.
Setting the Channel
The Presenter and the receiver have a DIP (Dual Inline Package) switch to set the channel; 16 channels are avai-
lable. The channel on both devices must be the same to work. Refer to the following instructions and illustrations.
1. Turn the receiver DIP switch cover clockwise and
take it off to access the DIP switch.
2. Use a ballpoint pen tip to set the channel.
3. Open the pointer and presenter battery cover to
access its DIP switch.
4. Set the channel as described in step 2.
5. Ensure that the DIP switch of both the receiver
and the wireless pointer and presenter have the
same settings.
Connecting to the PC
Refer to the following instructions and illustrations to connect receiver to your PC:
1. Turn off your computer.
2. Plug the PS/2 or USB connector on the receiver into the PS/2 mouse port or USB port on your computer.
The receiver PS/2 or USB connector can be rotated in either direction up to 180 degrees for convenience.
3. Turn on the computer.
Ensure that the Presenter is working. If the screen cursor does not re-spond to pointer and presenter movement,
ensure that you have properly
installed the RF receiver to the PS/2 mouse port or USB port. If it still is not working, refer to the Troubleshooting
section at the end of this guide.
The presenter can be turned by 180° and can be used as normal moouse.)
