Important: the app can only be played in combination with the doll. Signals that are being sent by the
doll will direct the app. Periodically certain signal tones might be heard. These sounds are harmless and
represent no product fault or any cause for complaints.
Once the app is uploaded and started, the doll can communicate with the app. In the first screen (baby's
room) you can choose a play sequence. To do that please tap one of the three framed images: morning,
midday or evening. The app will lead you through a clear sequence. The app is suitable for children aged
3 years and over. Please note that we suggest for parents to accompany the child during the play with
the app and to observe general recommendations for the use of media by children.
Additional functions with app
All functions explained in the NO APP mode are common to the APP mode and can be played in the
same fashion.
- Clean the face: Use the little fabric to clean the doll's face by wiping her cheeks several times with
soft pressure. The doll will react with baby sounds. The doll's face is clean as soon as you see stars
appearing in the app accompanied by a jingle sound (Fig ③)
- Singing: As part of the midday sequence the doll will want to sing. To do that, please keep the doll
upright and press both hands (heart and flower symbols) simultaneously for at least one second.

- Look at the moon: During the evening sequence, the doll watches the moon and the stars. Keep
the doll upright and press the hand with the heart symbol for at least one second. (Fig ⑨)
- Clean room: In the morning sequence the doll can play a clean up your room game. To start this
game keep the doll upright and press the hand with the flower symbol for at least one second. To
pick up the items in the app move your doll sideways left and right. Your doll will giggle and enjoy
this funny game until everything is back in place. (Fig ⑩)
- Bedtime story: Before going to bed the doll can enjoy a bedtime story game in the evening
sequence. To start the game, place the doll in a lying (horizontal) position and press the hand with
the flower symbol for at least one second. A page with sheep and flowers will appear. By pressing
the doll's hand stars will fall from the sky and one after the other all sheep and flowers will fall
asleep. (Fig ⑪)
App information
- An internet connection is only required for downloading the app. Once the app is installed on the
smart device, no internet connection will be required for playing with the app.
- The app does not require any data input and using the app will not lead to data collection or
transfer to a third party nor the app provider.
- „My First Baby Annabell" app is available in several languages. To choose a language tap on the
sheep with balloons in the first screen. A new page will open. Tap on the sheep with the language
balloon of your choice. This will set the language of the app and you will be automatically lead
back to the first screen. The currently available selection of languages is listed on our website
www.baby-annabell.com.
- The app is optimized for use on tablets, smart phones and similar devices.
- You can find a list of devices that were used for testing the app on our website www.baby-anna-
bell.com.
- Please note that the ideal distance for playing the app with the doll is to hold the doll no further
than 50 cm from the smart device.
- The best signal detection will be achieved by directing the doll's face towards the mobile device.
To play the burping activity it is recommended to hold the doll a little sideways to enable the
signal transfer.
