5.0 MAINTENANCE

Read the following instructions carefully. Remember that a steady compliance with the here included instructions grant regular perfor-
mances, working economy and a long running-life of the lift.
CAUTION: Regular deadlines to carry out maintenance are only mentioned as an indication and refer to standard conditions of use.
Any variations, such as a more or less dusty environment and frequency of use deeply influence such times. If conditions are more severe,
maintenance must be carried out more often. When replacing the oil use the same type as before.

5.1. CHECKING OF THE SAFETY DEVICES

WARNING: The following operations must be carried out by unloaded lift.

5.1.1 MECHANICAL SAFETIES

• Ceck the EMERGENCY/OFF pushbutton (17 Fig. 3) is released, is not turn it according to the arrow.
• Press the ON pushbutton (16 Fig. 3)
• Press the UP pushbutton (19 Fig. 3) and lift the platforms approx 1 mt from the floor.
• Press the DOWN pushbutton (21 Fig. 3) until the platforms stop after a slight descent.
• Press and lock the EMERGENCY/OFF (17 Fig. 3).
• Check that the wedges (1 Fig. 11) of the stand-by mechanical safety device on each column are insertet into the holes.
• Check that the wedges (2 Fig. 11) of the anti-fall mechanical safety device on each column, with loose cables, can be insertet into the holes
and that the relevant microswitches are activated..
5.2 PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE

5.2.1 EVERY WEEK

• Weekly inspect the safety devices as indicated in the handbook.
• Check the conditions of the bearing cables. In case replace them with original parts
• How to check the hydraulic oil level:
Lower the saddles copletely and check that the level corresponds to the upper mark of the tank.
If necessary fill up trough the plug (4 Fig. 14) with hydraulic oil "ESSO NUTO H32" or the equivalent.

5.2.2 EVERY MONTH

• Check that all the liftbolts and screws are tightly locked.
• Check the hydraulic seal; tighten loosened connectors where necessary.
• Check that the hydraulic hoses are in good conditions. Replace damaged parts with original components when necessary.
• Check that the pivots, rollers, bushings, saddle-arms frame and their extensions are well lubricated and in good conditions; if necessary,
replace the damaged parts with original components.
5.2.3 EVERY 200 WORKING HOURS
• Replace the oil in the hydraulic system, discharging the old one out of the pump and clean the oil filter. Refer to the respective spare parts
table enclosed in this manual for this operation.
A correct performance of these operations will totally come to the user's advantage. The equipment will indeed be in perfect state when work is
resumed.
5.3 EMERGENCY HYDRAULIC PUMP
By request it is possible to install an emergency hydraulic pump in case of electricity failures or (as described in paragraph 4.5 "Emergency
lowering") to solve problems caused by occasional blockages in the lowering system.
