6)
Lift one of the cross beams and insert the numbered cables (6 Fig. 6) following the the lay-out of Fig. 8. Now fix the beam to the platforms,
after having positioned the mobile platform P2 at the required working width, without locking completely the screws. Repeat this procedure
for the second cross beam.
7)
Check that the assembly beams-platforms is perfectly square and that the mobile platform P2 (4 Fig. 6) can move freely between the cross
beansthen tighten the screws (8 Fig. 6).
8)
Take out from the cross beams the numbered cables and pass them on the respective pulleys (see Fig. 8). Insert into the hole located on the
beam underneath each pulley (3 Fig. 11) the screw (22 Fig. 6) and lock it with the nut (23 Fig. 6) to avoid running off of the cables.
9)
Insert at both cross beams ends the drilled rods (9 Fig. 6). These are of two types (right and left. The holes (10 Fig. 6) must coincide with the
safety wedges (11 Fig. 6) and the threaded connection (12 Fig. 6) must be at the rod top end and towards the lift outside.
10) Install on the control column (3 Fig. 6), recognizable by the holes, the hydraulic unit support bracket (13 Fig. 6), using the supplied screws
(14 Fig. 6), in a way that the two central holes to fit the unit, are directed downwards.
11) Position the control column (3 Fig. 6) in vertical position at the side of the platform P1 where the pipes and cables are coming out, close to
the cross beam. Position the other columns (15 Fig. 6) as well, vertically, close to the other beams ends.
12) Position each column so that the cross beams ends enter into the columns and that the nylon blocks (16 Fig. 6) at the beams ends rest
against the columns internal wall. Check that the columns are perfectly vertical to the floor.
13) Fix then the drilled rods (9 Fig. 6) to the columns top ends with the supplied screws and washers (17 Fig. 6).
14) Fix the 4 numbered cables (6 Fig. 6) to the top end of the respective columns, using the delivered screws and washers (18 Fig. 6).
15) Install on the platforms ends, at the control column side, the wheel locking brackets (18 Fig. 9) using the supplied screws and nuts.
16) Install the climbing boards (20 Fig. 9) on the other platforms ends. Hook the pins installed on the boards into the platform holes.
17) Install on the control column (3 Fig. 6) the electrical panel (19 Fig. 6) and the hydraulic unit with the motor (20 Fig. 6) to the bracket (13 Fig.
6) using the supplied screws.

3.4.2 HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS

CAUTION: It is of the utmost importance to follow carefully the instructions regarding the connections of the hydraulic connections
1)
Install the connections of the hydraulic station (1 Fig. 9) as follow:
- take off the metal cap (2 Fig. 9) from the hydraulic station and fix it with the washer (3 Fig. 9) to the T-connection (4 Fig. 9);
- take off the plastic cap from the hydraulic station and fit the T-connection (4 Fig. 9) with the other washer (5 Fig. 9);
- fit finally, using teflon tape, the angle connection (6 Fig. 9) to the hydraulic station.
2)
Connect the feeding pipe (7 Fig. 9) of platform P1 to the connector (4 Fig. 9) of the hydraulic station.
3)
Connect the drain pipe (8 Fig. 9) of the platform P1 to the angle connection of the hydraulic station (6 Fig. 9).

3.4.3 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

1)
Open the electrical panel. Passing through the box (11 Fig. 9) and the free cable gland, connect the cable (12 Fig. 9) of the control column
microswitch to the terminal board (9 Fig. 9) of the circuit plate that is fitted on the panel cover. Close then the electrical panel.
2)
Take off the cover on the platform P1 (13 Fig. 9) wich is close the control column. Take the cables coming out of the electrical panel with
their terminal board (10 Fig. 9), through the cover hole (24 Fig. 9) and connect the control side cross beam cables to the numbered termi-
nal board. Re-assemble the cover.
3)
Connect the other cross beam cables to the numbered terminal board inside the connection box (14 Fig. 9). The terminal board is located
at the rear of platform P1.
4)
Connect the plug (15 Fig. 9) to the solenoid valve of the hydraulic station.
5)
Open the hydraulic motor terminal box and connect the cable coming out of the control panel (16 Fig. 9), in compliance with the voltage
supply, as shown on Fig. 10.

3.4.4 CONNECTION TO THE ELECTRIC SYSTEM

CAUTION:
The electric voltage connection must correspond to the one indicated on the lift electric cabinet.
The electric cabinet must be connected with a main switch manufactured and installed in compliance with the regulations of the
country where it is used.
The electric feeding system that supplies the electrical cabinet must comply with such regulations as well.
The minimum required power is 5 KW.
The minimum required electric cable section is 4 mm
Throughout this phase the motor should only work for a few seconds, in order to avoid hydraulic pump damages.
1)
Connect the power cable (23 Fig. 9) coming out from the electrical panel to the mains, in compliance with the regulations of the country
where the lift is installed.
2)
Switch on the mains and check that the Emergency/OFF pushbutton (17 Fig. 3) is not pressed down (in case turn it as shown by the
arrow).
3)
Press the pushbutton ON (16 Fig. 3), the ON indicator LED (16 Fig. 3), will light up.
4)
Press and realease the "UP" pushbutton (19 Fig. 3) and check that the motor rotation is in accordance with the arrow (17 Fig. 9). If not
switch-off the mains and change two phases on the plug coming out from the electrical panel. (In this phase, activate the motor only for
a very short time, to avoid damaging the hydraulic pump).
