Cover plate installation
– Make sure that the mains current to the faucet is switched off.
– Remove the installation casing cover (23).
– Make sure that the flusher's own stop valves (7) are in the open position and that the stop valve
ahead of the flusher is closed.
– The edge of the installation casing must be level with the final wall surface. If necessary, cut the
casing edge back.
– Attach the cover plate installation frame (8) to the flusher body with the four screws provided (9).
Secure the installation frame to the wall with sealing compound.
– Attach connectors 10 & 11 to each other.
– Attach connectors 12 & 13 to each other.
– Loosen the stem's (14) locking screw with a 2 mm Allen key and adjust the stem height by fitting the
cover plate (15) in place, so that the stem flange is tight up against the cover plate.
– Tighten the stem's (14) locking screw.
– Turn the temperature adjustment stem (28) so that the groove faces upwards.
– Turn the temperature adjustment lever (29) to its central position (lever points upwards).
– Correctly position the cover plate (15) and sleeve (16).
– Tighten the sleeve (16) with a 19 mm socket wrench.
– Do up the cover plate locking screws (17) with a 2 mm Allen key.
– Attach the spout (18) and do up its locking screw (19) with a 2 mm Allen key.
– Open the water inlet and switch on the mains current to the faucet.
Electrical connection for 6107, 6109 (6107A & 6107C, 6109A)
– Thread the cable through the cable gland (6). The cable must be 4 x 0.25 mm2 in order to utilise the
intelligent switch-off feature and centralised Data Terminal adjustments that are enabled by Oras bus
transformer no. 199099. A 2 x 0.25 mm2 cable is otherwise sufficient.
– When you use the Oras bus transformer, connect the electric wires running from the transformer to
the green connector in the installation frame, so that markings +, -, A and B match up. If you use a
single transformer with several faucets or urinals, the cabling can be connected freely, either
individually or chained; but the total length of cabling must not exceed 50 metres. Otherwise just
connect + and -.
NOTE! Electrical installations must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
– Finally, attach the installation casing cover (23) ahead of any construction work.
