4.2.3 Loading with a crane

Danger!
A CEMbox 250 l can cause severe inju­
ries if it falls.
Do not stand under suspended loads
during crane operations.
Important!

Before each crane operation, the screw
union of the 2 crane holders must be
checked for a secure connection.
1. Check the 2 crane holders d for deformations.
2. Check secure connection of the 2 crane holders
d.
3. Fasten 4 suitable load-handling attachments
(rope, belt, chain) of equal length (minimum
length: 1 m) to the 2 crane lugs d.
4. Load and unload the CEMbox from the trans-
port vehicle in crane operation, or use in crane
operation on construction sites for flexible,
correct use.
5. After crane operation, remove the load-handling
attachments from the crane holders d.
4.3

Transporting

During transport, observe the pertinent regulations
for transport and securing loads, in particular:
• road traffic (licensing) act of the country
in question,
• CEN 12195 Parts 1 to 4 for calculation
and lashing.
Use the crane holders for placing of the tension
belts when fastening to the transport vehicle.
Important!

Positive fit before traction!
First, try to positively load the CEMbox
(e.g. through striking the sides).
Excessive lashing forces can damage
the CEMbox.
Recommendation:
Use a non-slip mat.
