1. General
The CEMbox 250 for use with crane is equipped
with 2 screwed galvanised steel crane holders on
the left and right-hand sides.
The CEMbox for use with crane is state of the art
technology and complies with approved technical
safety regulations.
The CEMbox carries the CE symbol, i.e. the EU
directives and harmonised standards of relevance
to the filling station were applied during design and
manufacture. The CEMbox must be used only if it
is in defect-free technical condition and is the versi-
on delivered by the manufacturer.
For safety reasons, modifications are not allowed
to the CEMbox 250 l for use with crane.
1.1 Safety
Each CEMbox 250 l for use with crane is tested for
function and safety before despatch.
The CEMbox is safe to operate when used cor-
rectly.
Incorrect operation, failure to follow the safety
instructions or misuse poses a dangerous risk with
regard to:
• the life and limb of the operator.
• the CEMbox and other assets of the operator.
• the function of the CEMbox.
As the operator of the CEMbox 250 l for use with
crane, you are responsible for ensuring that
• all safety instructions are understood and
complied with.
• the valid rules of occupational safety are com-
plied with.
• only instructed persons operate the CEMbox
(see section "Operating the CEMbox").

1.1.1 Using original parts

Please only use original parts provided or
recommended by the manufacturer. Also take note
of all safety and usage information provided with
these parts.
This concerns spare and wear parts as well
as accessories.

1.1.2 Operating the CEMbox
The CEMbox may only be used by instructed
persons who
• have read and understood the operating
instructions.
• have proven their ability to operate the
equipment.
• have been assigned to operate the equipment.
Danger!
Do not hold the side of the cover when
closing it.
Risk of injury!
Important!
The operating instructions must be easily accessi­
ble at the CEMbox for each user.
1.1.3 Warning signs on the CEMbox
The warning signs on the CEMbox must always be
affixed and legible.
Signs affixed by the manufacturer on the front of
the CEMbox:
Danger!
A CEMbox can cause severe injuries if
it falls.
Do not stand under suspended loads
during crane operations.

Intended use

The CEMbox 250 l for use with crane is intended
for the transport and storage of tools, small ap-
pliances, small parts, etc. at a variety of locations
outdoors.
Operating temperature range: - 10 °C to + 40 °C
Important!

A maximum of 3 CEMbox 250 l may be
stacked on top of each other for storage
purposes (observe max. load).
The use for crane operation is restricted to
a period of 5 years from the date of
manufacture (see type plate
