4.6 Battery charge level gauge

The battery charge level gauge is composed of 3 LEDs which indicate approximately the battery charge level (Fig. 4).
A = battery charged
B = battery partially discharged
C = battery run down, the brush motor and the suction motor are switched off automatically
The brush motor and the vacuum motor automatically switch off a few seconds after the 'C' LED comes on.
To bring the machine to the recharging point, lift up the front of the machine and push it on the wheels.
Using the specified cable supplied, connect the battery charger to a 220 V socket.
The machine cannot be used during the charging process.

4.7 Adjustment of the handle

For packing reasons the handle is supplied folded up; it needs to be installed in the working position:
1. Insert the hose with the larger diameter in the left cover connector (Fig. 5A)
2. Insert the hose with the smaller diameter in the right cover connector (Fig. 5B)
3. Lift up the handle by pulling the lever indicated upwards (Fig. 6A)

4. Press the start button several times (Fig. 8A)
The brush is locked in place automatically.
Make sure there are no obstacles or people near the machine.

4.9 Recovery tank

Check that the discharge plug is screwed in and that the inspection cover is firmly attached.

4.10 Detergent solution

Fill the solution tank with clean water at a temperature that does not exceed 50°C (Fig. 7) and add the liquid detergent in the
amount and using the procedures recommended by the detergent manufacturer. Use only a small percentage of detergent to
prevent formation of an excess quantity of foam, as too much foam may damage the suction motor.
Always use low foam detergent. Pour a small amount of anti-foam liquid into the recovery tank before starting work in
order to prevent foam being generated. Never use pure acids. After filling screw the filler cap back into the tank. It is
recommended that you empty the recovery tank each time you fill up with clean water and detergent.
