4) Wire the sounder base as shown in Fig. 2 en sur ing cor rect po -

5) Fit the ad dress flag to the de tec tor, see Fig.5.
6) Fit the de tec tor to the sounder base, (the ad dress flag will be
trans ferred to the sounder base).
! DO NOT FILL SOUND GAP BETWEEN MOUNTING
FLANGE AND SOUNDER BASE.
! DO NOT CONNECT ANY EXTERNAL WIRING TO
CONNECTION L2.
Note: for LPCB ap proval, de tec tors and caps must be locked
into the sounder base us ing a lock ing de vice (Fac tory fit ted). En -
sure that the lock ing de vice is in place be fore fit ting a de tec tor or
cap. See Fig. 6. The Vol ume Pot Blank La bel must be fit ted.
