INTRODUCTION
The FC430SB Loop Low Power Sounder Base pro vides an ad di -
tional sounder func tion on the FC ad dress able loop cir cuit. The
FC430SB Loop Low Sounder Base re quires an as so ci ated de tec -
tor in or der to op er ate, as it uses the ad dress of the de tec tor that is
fit ted to it. Re moval of the de tec tor or loss of power to the loop will
cause the sounder to cease op er at ing. A max i mum of 45 Sounder
Bases at full vol ume may be con nected to the loop.

Tone – us ing the 4-way DIL switch (Fig. 3 and Ta ble 1 re fer).
Vol ume – us ing the trim mer tool (FC490VA) (Fig. 3 re fers).

INSTALLATION TO A FLAT SURFACE OR ELECTRICAL
BACKBOX
To in stall a sounder base, pro ceed as fol lows.
1) Feed the ad dress able loop wir ing through the mount ing flange
ca ble en try.
2) Se cure the mount ing flange to ei ther an elec tri cal backbox or a
flat sur face as re quired.
3) Feed the ad dress able loop wir ing through the sounder base
ca ble en try, then clip the sounder base to the mount ing flange.
