3. Loosen the gland (1+9) in counter-clockwise direction.
4. Remove the cap (1) carefully as it is secured to the UV-C lamp (3). Note: UV-C
lamp is fragile.
5. Take the quartz glass tube (2) from the UV-C unit. Note: quartz glass is fragile.
6. Note the seals (11 +12) that you do not lose.
7. Clean the quartz glass (2) with a soft sponge, prevent scratches, and make it dry.
8. Clean the UV-C unit on the inside and make it dry.
9. If necessary, replace the failed or damaged parts, such as UV-C lamp (3), quartz
glass (2) and sealing rings (11 +12).
Warning: the new lamp should not be touched with bare hands. Use a soft, clean
cloth.
10. Place the quartz glass (2) back in the UV-C unit. Note: This is fragile.
11. Place the UV-C lamp (3) with cap (1) back in the UV-C unit. Note: UV-C lamp is
fragile.
12. Make sure the end cap (10) Seals (11 +12) and cap (1) are in place and tighten
the unions (1 +9) on, clockwise direction along.
13. Tighten the nut (6) of the connector on the bottom of the VarioClean back on, so
that it is good closed.
14. When all parts are correctly reassembled, first turn on the pump and check if there
is no leakage.
15. When everything is checked, the VarioClean can be turn on.
Old UV-C lamps must not be destroyed or throw away with normal household waste.
UV-C lamp must be taken to the chemical waste deposited.
In the winter

Protect VarioClean from frost.
-
Remove the water from VarioClean before the frost season sets in.

Clean VarioClean as described earlier, before putting it in storage.

Store VarioClean in a dry and frost-free area.

Removal and storage of waste
All household electrical appliances must be removed in accordance with EU directives.
The product may not be disposed of with the normal household waste, but should be
collected separately.
You are personally responsible for bringing the device to a designated landfill site. It must be
dismantled and processed in an environment-friendly manner.
More information on local landfill sites can be obtained from the municipality in which you
live.
Warranty conditions
VarioClean is covered by a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase. Please keep the
receipt for future reference.
Within the period specified, repair or replacement of damage caused as a result of
manufacturing and/or material defect will be free of charge. Rotor, UV-C lamp, quartz glass,
normal wear and tear, dry running, operating errors, scale, lack of maintenance, freezing,
improper repairs and damage caused by improper use are not covered by the warranty.
Any modification or alteration of VarioClean, such as shortening the power cord or cutting the
plug off, will render the warranty null and void.
The supplier is not liable for consequential damage arising from VarioClean failure or misuse.
For warranty claims, bring the product, the product warranty and receipt to the retailer.
