15. Do not use the appliance in wet rooms or in moist surround-
ings as e. g. a bathroom or a swimming pool. Danger of electric
shock and fire! Also, the appliance must not be used in rooms
with explosive or aggressive atmospheres, high concentrations
of solvents or extremely high dust exposure.
16. The appliance is not designed for outdoor use. The appliance
must not come into contact with rain. Do not use in vehicles
or on boats.

17. Unplug the appliance when it is not in use or unattended, and
before cleaning. We recommend the use of a residual current
device (RCD safety switch) to ensure additional protection
during the use of electrical appliances. It is advisable to use a
safety switch with a rated residual operating current of 30 mA
maximum. For professional advice consult an electrician.
18. Before pulling the power plug of the appliance out of the
power socket, always make sure that the appliance is not in
use.
19. Do not make any changes to the appliance, the power cord,
the plug or the accessories.
20. Incorrect use may cause injury!
21. Never reach for an appliance that has fallen into water or
other liquids. Always use dry rubber gloves to pull the plug
before taking it out. Do not start using it again before having it
checked for functionality and safety by Solis or a service centre
authorized by Solis.
22. Never place the appliance so that it might fall into water or,
on its outside, come into contact with water or another liquid.
23. Never submerge the appliance, the outside of the water tub or
parts of the appliance like power cord or power plug in water
or bring them into contact with water resp. other liquids.
24. Place the appliance so that it is never exposed to direct sun-
light. Extremely low temperatures should be avoided as well.
The plastic parts might otherwise change color or distort.

25. Never insert any objects or tool into appliance openings. The
appliance may become damaged – danger of electric shock!
26. Before adding or removing parts, pull the power plug, remove
the water tank and pour the remaining water out of the water
tub.
27. Never use the appliance without water. Caution: Only remove
the water tank while the appliance is switched off. Only switch
on the appliance after the filled water tank has been installed,
the appliance has been correctly reassembled and the water
tub has been filled with water.
28. Only use fresh, hand warm tap water to fill the water tank
(10°C to max. 30°C). Pour the water remaining in the tank
away first. It is best to fill the water tank completely with
water. Under no circumstances add additives like essential
oils or perfumes to the water.
29. Always make sure that the appliance is correctly assembled
before connecting it to a power socket and starting to use it.
30. Do not shake or move the appliance while it is in use. Never
replace the water-filled, switched-on appliance! Before moving
the appliance, you should switch it off, pull the plug and drain
the water tub.
31. Only use the appliance as described in this manual. Only use
with the provided accessories or accessories recommended by
Solis, incorrect accessories or misuse can lead to damage of the
appliance, fire, electric shock or personal damage.
32. Never use the appliance with an external timer switch or
remote control.
33. Do not operate the appliance on a tilted surface.
34. The appliance is only suited for household use and not for
commercial use.
