Function
Charcoal filters are required for redu-
cing odours with recirculation mode
cooker hoods. They are fitted in the
cooker hood above the grease filters.
These charcoal filters can be reused
several times by reactivating them in an
oven or in a steam combination oven.
 Please observe the instructions re-
garding recirculation mode in the op-
erating instructions supplied with
your cooker hood.
Installation

 Please observe the operating instruc-
tions supplied with the cooker hood
when fitting the charcoal filters.

Cleaning and care
Reactivation interval
Reactivate the charcoal filters when
they no longer absorb kitchen odours
effectively, and at least every 6 months.
Cooker hoods with operating hours
counters only:
The operating hours counter will remind
you to regularly reactivate the charcoal
filters by lighting up the charcoal filter
symbol .
 Make sure that the operating hours
counter is activated.
Removing the charcoal filters
 Remove the charcoal filters from the
cooker hood. Please observe the op-
erating instructions supplied with the
cooker hood.
