4.2. Connecting the product

WARNING!
Risk of electric shock from live parts

Ensure that the product is switched off before
plugging it into an easily accessible and correctly installed
safety socket (220-240 V ~ 50/60 Hz) which is close to the
place where you will be using the product. Always keep the
socket free of obstructions so that the plug can be pulled out
easily.
 Do not use the product if there is visible damage to the mains
cable or to the product or if the product has been dropped.
 When disconnecting the product from the mains supply, al-
ways pull on the plug rather than on the cable.
 Do not hang the product up by the cable.
 Do not wind the mains cable around the product.
 Make sure that the mains cable is not running over sharp edg-
es and ensure that it is not caught or hanging down so as to
cause a tripping hazard.
 Make sure that the mains cable does not come into contact
with parts of the product which are hot.

4.3. Operating the product

 Do not use the product with wet hands, near or in the show-
er, bathtub or a washbasin full of water. If the product comes
into contact with water, do not reach into the water but pull
out the plug immediately.
 Pull out the plug after each use in bathrooms as there is a risk
of electric shock due to the damp atmosphere and the live
parts.
 Do not put metal objects into the air inlet or blower vent as
