4. Safety information

WARNING!
Risk of injury due to improper handling
• Keep the product and its accessories out of the reach of chil-
dren.
• These products may be used by children over the age of 8
and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abil-
ities or by those without experience and/or knowledge, if
they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of
the product and have understood the potential risks.
• Children must not be allowed to play with the product.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children, unless they are aged 8 or over and are supervised.
• Children younger than 8 should be kept away from the prod-
uct and the mains cable.

4.1. Unpacking the product

Risk of suffocation
 Keep any plastic sheet used in packaging away from
children.
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock from live parts
 Check the mains cable for damage before using the product
for the first time and after each use.
 If you find that it has been damaged in transit or that there
are technical problems, please contact the Medion Service
Centre at once.
