6 Initial use

Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material.
Place the humidifier before initial use on a flat and even surface.

Remove the water tank from the device. Open the water tank by unscrewing
the water tank cover.

Fill the tank with fresh clear water. Ensure that the water temperature is not
above 40 °C. Also, ensure that the tank is not overfilled.

Then screw the water tank cover back onto the tank properly.

Afterwards, put the water tank back onto the base unit. Ensure that the tank
is firmly seated and does not wobble.

Then, the cover should be placed with the steam outlet on the top of the
tank.

Now, the supplied power adapter can be plugged to a properly connected
power socket and diffuser. The device is now ready to be used. Press the
"POWER" button to start. The quantity of steam released can be set individ-
ually with this button. Press the "POWER" button again. A green light indi-
cates that the first power level is active. As soon as the LED lights up blue,
the second level is active.
7 Key function and signal LEDs
A signal LED is located in the base unit. If it lights up red, then the automatic shut-
down is active. In this case, refill the water tank or check whether the tank was
placed properly onto the base unit.
The air humidification has two levels for the steam generation. Press the "POWER"
button on the front side of the device to switch it on. The LED light turns green
(level 1). Press this button again to activate the second power level. The signal LED
turns blue as soon as this is activated.
