I have several CI+ capable TV sets in my household. Can I use the DigiCard on every set?
This is possible without any difficulty. Please note that for every newly connected device,
you must first run a channel search.
Do the Replay, OnDemand and MyPrime services also work with the DigiCard?
No. Video on Demand and TV on Demand are only available with a Mediabox (such as Horizon)
from UPC.
How does parental control work?
Parental control is managed directly via the TV set. Please read your TV set user guide to implement
the parental control function.
An error message appears on my television. What should I do?
Please make sure that the SmartCard is correctly inserted in the DigiCard and that the DigiCard
is securely fastened in the CI slot of your TV set. If the error message is still displayed, please contact
UPC technical support on 0800 66 88 66.
The error message «You do not have access to this channel» appears on my television.
What should I do?
You have probably not subscribed to this channel. Please contact UPC on 0800 46 46 46 or visit
our website at upc.ch to subscribe to the channel concerned. If this message is displayed for a channel
where you already have a subscription, please contact our technical support on 0800 66 88 66.
The error message «Your SmartCard has expired» appears on my television. What should I do?
You have not watched any encrypted (subscribed) channels for quite some time and the associated
rights have been deleted.
Please make sure your TV is turned on and tuned to an encrypted channel. Then wait for a maximum
of 45 minutes until automatic activation occurs.
If this does not work, please phone our customer service on 0800 66 88 66.
