Plan you network connection

To control the monitored devices and protect them from staying
offline, design your network thoroughly before connecting the
devices to your network.
• Plug the power plug of the two devices to be monitored/
controlled into the two power sockets on the main unit.
• The two devices to be monitored/controlled and the main
unit must be in the same network.
It is not a must to monitor/control the router and the
modem. But if they are not monitored/controlled,
when there is a failure in the router/modem, the other
monitored/controlled devices in the network may not
be monitored/controlled correctly.
