Danger!
Electric current may be lethal! To reduce the risk of
short-circuits make sure that the appliance, the
power supply cord or the power socket never
come in contact with water or other liquids. To
prevent the risk of fire, covering the appliance is
strictly prohibited!
To prevent the risk of burns, moving the appliance
while in use is strictly prohibited. To ensure the
safety of the user and of third parties, it is neces-
sary to strictly observe the important safety
precautions mentioned on page 24 / 25.
Preparing the Appliance
Place the appliance on a stable and wide table
(never, for example, under a cupboard). Observe
the important safety precautions mentioned on
pages 24 / 25.
After the Meal
Turn the temperature regulator (3) completely
anticlockwise. Unplug and let the appliance cool
down completely. The appliance must be cleaned
after use (see «Cleaning» page 27).
Changing the Temperature
Temperature may be adjusted by means of the
regulator (3). Turning the regulator anti-clockwise
temperature decreases while turning it clockwise it
increases.

Repairs must be caried out only by the official after-
sales service department. All repairs carried out by
unqualified personnel may involve serious risks for
the user.
D I S P O S A L
Render unusable all appliances that are out of
order. Disconnect the plug from the socket and cut
the electric cord.
Cleaning
Clean the appliance after each use so as to
avoid food residues from sticking to it.
Before cleaning the appliance make sure it is
unplugged and wait for the appliance to have com-
pletely cooled down.
Never immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids. Never put the appliance in the dish-washer.
Cleaning the Heating Casing
Clean the outside of the casing with a
moistened sponge or soft cloth. The heat-
ing casing must never come into contact with
water or with other liquids.
Cleaning the Pot and accessories
The pot and all accessories should be
cleaned with detergent and water.
Storing
Before putting the appliance away make
sure it is unplugged. Store it only when it
has cooled down completely. If the appliance isn't
going to be used for a long time it must be
protected from excessive dust and dirt. Store the
appliance in a dry place and keep it out of the
reach of children. Make sure the appliance is
always unplugged when not in use.
Maintenance
The appliance needs no maintenance except
anoccasional check as to its correct operation.
No responsability is assumed in the case of
damages caused by repairs carried out by
unqualified personnel. Under these circumstances
all guarantee rights become void.
Take all appliances that are out of order to appro-
priate waste collection.
