Cleaning Your Hearing Aid

The following instructions will assist in extending the life of
your hearing aid.
To Clean the Exterior of the Hearing Aid:
You should inspect your hearing aid daily and clean it
periodically to control build-up of dust, dirt and wax. To clean,
wipe the surface very gently with a soft, dry cloth or use moist
cleaning wipes made especially for hearing aids.
To Clean the Dome:
The receiver unit and dome should be cleaned regularly
according to the instructions on the following pages.
Inspect the dome of the receiver unit portion of the hearing
aid for any wax build-up. To clean, wipe the dome very
gently with a soft, dry cloth or use moist cleaning wipes
made especially for hearing aids and their accessories. The
dome should be cleaned regularly and exchanged at the
latest after three months.
Be very careful not to push wax into the earwax filter.
