Blink/Beepcode: 2-1 Meaning: Power fail
The external power supply has failed.
If the mains supply has been broken intentionally, the alert can be muted by pressing the push-button (3). As
soon as the capacitors are discharged, the module will shut down automatically. With the acoustical alert
switched of this will happen after around 5 hours.
If the mains supply has not been broken intentionally, please check the fuses on the machine or the power
outlet the box is connected to.
Blink/Beepcode: 2-2 Meaning: Temperature warning (default: T>40°C
)
The exhaust temperature is higher than the programmed alert limit. Make sure the air intakes and outlets are
not blocked, the pump does not produce to much waste heat and the ambient temperature is not too high.
Blink/Beepcode: 2-3 Meaning: Overtemperature (default: T>60°C
)
The exhaust temperature is higher than the programmed critical limit. The internal power outlet is shut down
(exception: OpMode 3). Make sure the air intakes and outlets are not blocked, the pump does not produce
to much waste heat and the ambient temperature is not too high. Check the proper function of the fans and
the pump.
Blink/Beepcode: 3-1 Meaning: Life expectancy of the fans reached (n < 80 n
)

One time a week the maximum fan speed is tested automatically. If the motor speed falls below 80% of the
original motor speed an alert shows up for about half a minute (exception: OpMode 2 and 3). The back
panel should be exchanged to assure the proper cooling of the insulated pump.
Blink/Beepcode: 3-2 Meaning: Fan failure or fan speed too low (n < 700 rpm)
If the fan speed of one or more fans falls below 700 rpm this alert shows up. Make sure the fans are not
blocked.
Blink/Beepcode: 3-3 Meaning: Complete fan failure
The internal power outlet is switched off to avoid further damage to the box and the pump (exception:
OpMode 3).
Blink/Beepcode: 1 -2-1 Meaning: Configuration error
The number of power supplies, temperature sensors and fans are pre-programmed to the module. This alert
shows an erroneous configuration. Please contact Sonation to discuss further steps.
Blink/Beepcode: 1 -2-2 Meaning: Discharged or defective capacitors
After connecting the box to the mains supply the backup capacitors are getting charged. During the charging
procedure (about 1 0 minutes) this alert can show up. If the alert is still there after this time, please contact
Sonation to discuss further steps.
Blink/Beepcode: 1 -2-3 Meaning: Failure of a temperature sensor
To protect the pump all fans run on 1 00% speed. The back panel should be replaced immediately.
Blink/Beepcode: 1 -3-1 Meaning: +24V voltage supply erroneous
The internal power supply is erroneous. The back panel has to be replaced immediately.
Blink/Beepcode: 1 -3-2 Meaning: +5V voltage supply erroneous
The internal voltage regulator is erroneous. The back panel has to be replaced immediately.
Blink/Beepcode: 2-1 -2 Meaning: Overcurrent (default: 1 2A/1 9,2A)
The power consumption of the internal power outlet is monitored. If the current consumption is higher than
the programmed value for a longer time (~30seconds) the power outlet is switched off to protect the box and
the connected pump. As factory default this value is set to 1 2A at 1 0A models and to 1 9,2A at 1 6A models.
