• Bei der Installation des Switches sind die in Cisco
Montageanleitung enthaltenen Unfallverhütungs-
vorschriften und Sicherheitshinweise zu beachten.
Arbeitsablauf
1. Der Switch wird im Schrank in der Höhe von 7HE bis 31HE
installiert.
2. Käfigmuttern von hinten in den Lochraster des
19"-Serverprofils mittels Montagehilfe einrasten.
y Untere Feder der Käfigmutter ins Loch einhängen und
Montagehilfe durch das Loch durchstecken.
y Obere Feder mit der Montagehilfe fangen und durch das
quadratische Loch des Profils ziehen.
3. CISCO Auflageschienen auf benötigte Tiefe einstellen (2)
und mittels beigelegten Schrauben M6x19 am
19"-Serverprofil befestigen (1). Untere Stützfläche für
Switch muss mit Marke 7HE passen.

• When installing the switch, the accident prevention regula-
tions and safety instructions contained in Cisco Installation
Instructions must be observed.

Working procedure

1. The switch is installed in the rack at height 7RU to 31RU.
2. Lock the caged nuts from the back into the mounting
holes of the 19" server extrusion using the mounting aid.
y Hang the lower spring of the caged nut into the hole and
move the mounting aid through the hole.
y Catch the upper spring with the mounting aid and pull it
through the square hole of the extrusion.
3. Adjust the CISCO support rails to required depth (2) and
attach them to the 19" server extrusion using enclosed
screws M6x19 (1). Lower support surface for the switch
must match the 7RU mark.
