Automatic emergency call
The emergency call is initiated by pressing and holding the buttons M1,
M2 or M3 on the telephone or by using the wristband transmitter. The
wristband transmitter must be programmed in the telephone (refer to
Page 25). If you have not assigned phone numbers to buttons M1, M2 or
M3, no phone number is dialled but a loud acoustic signal is issued from
the telephone.
Pay attention that the wristband transmitter is in range of the tele-
phone.
There should always be a fully charged battery in the wristband
transmitter.

The person taking the call stops the outgoing alert message by
pressing "0". You can then converse for 3 minutes. Handsfree mode
remains active on the phone making the emergency call during this

4. When the 3 minutes have elapsed, the call is disconnected. An
attempt begins again to dial the phone numbers assigned to buttons
M1, M2 and M3 as described above.
5. If the call is disconnected or the receiver is placed on−hook before the
3 minutes have elapsed, an attempt is made to dial the emergency
numbers. The emergency procedure won't be stop unless 3 numbers
have been dialed out. The engaged signal can be heard on the phone
making the emergency call.
To end an emergency call, press and hold the button M1, M2 or
M3 for 5 seconds again.
Battery, wristband transmitter
The wristband transmitter is provided with a battery control function which
monitors the capacity of the battery during a transmission process. If the
LED flashes while the button is pressed or the LED does not light up at all,
the battery must be replaced.
The wristband transmitter is splashproof. To ensure it remains so after
changing the battery, we recommend you have the battery changed at
your sales outlet or by a specialist.
Programming more wristband transmitters
Other Easywave products, such as the RT27 necklace transmitter, RT28
pushbutton transmitter or fall mats can also be used as transmitters.
A maximum of eight transmitters can be programmed in the telephone (re-
fer to Page 25).
When 8 transmitters are already programmed, programming another cau-
ses the first transmitter to be overwritten.
An individual transmitter can be programmed several times. For example,
a transmitter can be programmed eight times to delete all transmitters pre-
viously programmed.
