Programming the wristband transmitter
In order to use the emergency call function using the RT26 wristband
transmitter, the telephone must be programmed for the wristband trans-
mitter. Up to 8 transmitter units can be programmed in the telephone.
Attention: There must be no batteries in the phone when the
programming process is performed.
1. Disconnect the power plug and wait until the indicator in the
telephone display disappears. Then replace the power plug.
2. Press the Transmit button (1) on the wristband transmitter within
5 seconds, the LED lights up. If the button is not pressed within
5 seconds, the telephone automatically switches to Standby mode.
Attention: In order to check whether the wristband transmitter is
programmed correctly, complete an emergency call test.

Inserting the batteries
Insert the batteries in the open
battery compartment.
Only use batteries of the type
AA 1.5 V. Pay attention to the
correct polarity. Close the
battery compartment cover.
Insertion of batteries is not absolutely essential. The telephone
can be operated with or without batteries. The full range of tele-
phone functions can only be used when batteries or the power
adapter plug are fitted. Pay attention that the telephone is not con-
nected to the telephone line socket and/or mains power connec-
tion when the batteries are being inserted or replaced.

Setting the time and date
The time and date are set via the menu. Refer to Page 32 for the se-
quence of menu option selections necessary.
