10.1. Online Manual

This user manual is a printed version. Therefore it represents the specifi cations
and software features from the date printed (September 2018). As we are con-
stantly improving our cameras, always refer to the up-to-date online manual:
The online manual off ers you many important topics for using your camera. Be-
low are some of the topics covered by the online manual:
1. How to use the DDNS address
2. How to set a port forwarding rule

10.2. Firmware Update
INSTAR cameras will be provided with free fi rmware updates. Open the WebUI
and navigate to System -> Firmware Update to check if there is a new update
available for your camera model. You can then download and install the latest
fi rmware directly through the WebUI. The latest fi rmware can also be found here:
