Cleaning the mesh filters

To clean the mesh filters:
1. Push the filter lock and remove a mesh filter.
2. To clean the filter, do one of the following:
• Cleaning manually:
i. S oak the filter for about 3 minutes in water with a grease-removing detergent.
NOTICE! It is advisable not to use rinse aids. Wash the filter separately from
crockery and kitchen utensils.

ii. B rush the filter gently with a soft brush. NOTICE! Do not apply too much
pressure to avoid damaging the filter. The filter might fade grey. This is normal
and is not included in the warranty.
• Cleaning in the dishwasher:
i. P lace the filter in the dishwasher and run a program with a grease-removing
detergent. NOTICE! It is advisable not to use rinse aids. Wash the filter
separately from crockery and kitchen utensils. The filter might fade grey. This
is normal and is not included in the warranty.
3. Leave the filter to dry naturally out of direct sunlight.
4. Place one side of the filter into the slots at the back of the hood.
5. Push the filter lock.
6. P ut the filter in its correct position.
Pull clip to remove
7. Release the filter lock.
8. Repeat these steps for the other filters.
