Installation and connection: The installation is to be made at a location protected from weather and
where there is no risk of fire. The controller must be mounted in the vertical position. The earth lead
must be attached to the earth terminal (
The power supply cable must not be handled when the temperature is below 5°C.
If the fence lead is conducted away from the building a lightning protection must be installed.
Operating and control: Plug the mains cable in a 230 V supply socket. After a few seconds a slight
tic-tac can be heard. The operation indication (1) and the energy indication (2) are illuminated. (page
3 / fig.3). If the operation indication (1) is not illuminated the energizer is faulty.
The 10 LEDs (4) indicate the fence voltage in 1000V steps. At least 3 lamps should flash (3000V) to
ensure sufficient voltage and fencing. If less than two LED are illuminated an acoustic signal will be
generated - and the switcher of alarm (6) / fig. 2 wiil be closed (see fig. 3 and fig. 4).
Possible reasons, when the voltage is too low:
a) with fence:
heavy vegetation on the fence, insulator flash-over or fence too long.
b) without fence:
the energizer is faulty, see service.
The energizer has two fence terminals: (page 3 / fig. 2)
(Z1) = max output
(Z2) = reduced output
By operating with two fence systems ( Z1 + Z2 ) the indication lamps show the reduced output only.
The horismart effect: (page 3/ Fig 3)
horismart is a new electric fence philosophy: powerful but safe for humans and animals. Under normal
conditions - clean fence- the energizer supplies high possible fence voltage but with reduced and safe
pulse energy.
The indication for the pulse energy

increased pulse energy into the fence ie in case of fence contact -
vegetation or other deviation.
If the standard pulse cannot keep the minimum fence voltage (approx. 5000V) the green LED (2) is
turned off and the pulse energy is increased - LED (3) yellow is on - but the energy step up is turned
on only after a safety time of approx. 1 minute. If the breakdown is removed the energiser is operating
again with the standard pulse - with LED (2) green on.
Abnormal operation: To prevent unallowed pulse energies from the fence a pulse sequence control
is available.If the pulse sequence increases a certain value the pulse energy is decreased. In this case
the step up switch is blocked - possible reason: power surge. lightning flash, permenant fence sparks
or energiser defect.
Testing grounding (5): Produce with a metal stake against the fence
wire (no plastic) a short circuit (ca. 50m distance to fencer).
Max. 2 lamps (wet ground) or 3 lamps (dry ground) may shine.
Otherwise drive in more stakes (see picture).
Service: Servicing is only to be made by qualified service
personell. Only by the manufacturer commanded replacement parts must be used. If the supply
cord of this energizer is damaged this cord must be replaced by a special supply cord which
is recommended by the manufacturer.

Installation et raccordements: Installez l'électrificateur à un endroit qui ne présente pas des risques
des intempéries et d'incendie, l'électrificateur doit être monté en position verticale.
Le fils de terre et de ligne doivent être raccordés aux bornes correspondantes de l'appareil.

Ne touchez pas le câble quand la température tombe au-dessous de 5°.
Si le fil de ligne s'éloigne du bâtiment, un système parafoudre s'impose.
Mise en service et contrôle: Raccorder au secteur. Quelques secondes après on entend un tic-tac
régulier, l'appareil est en marche. L'indicateur de marche (1) et l'indicateur de puissance (2) sont
allumés. Si l'indicateur de marche ne s'allume pas, la source d'énergie est défectueuse.
Les 10 LEDs (4) de contrôle de la clôture montrent la tension sur la ligne. La tension est indiquée par
tranche de 1000V. Si moins de 3 lampes (3000 Volts) s'allument il faut contrôler la ligne et l'appareil.
Si moins de 2 voyants LED sont allumés, un signal sonore retentit - et le contact d'alarme (6) / fig. 2
est fermé (voir fig. 3 et fig. 4).

La clôture peut être branchée sur l'une des 2 bornes de l'appareil selon la puissance voulue :
(Z1) = puissance maximale
Lorsque les 2 lignes de clôture (Z1 et Z2) fonctionnent ensemble, les lampes indicatrices montrent
uniquement la puissance réduite.
Les avantages de l'horismart: (page 3/fig.3)
Horismart est une nouvelle conception de clôture électrique : puissante mais plus sûre pour les hommes
et les animaux. Dans des conditions normales d'utilisation, l'appareil consomme peu d'énergie pour
une tension optimale.
L'indicateur d'énergie d'impulsion

Si l'impulsion standard ne peut pas maintenir le voltage minimum (environ 5000V) le voyant LED (2) vert
s'éteint et l'impulsion augmente. Le voyant LED (3) jaune s'allume. La puissance atteind son maximum
au bout de 60 secondes. L'appareil est de nouveau opérationnel en fonctionnement normal - impulsi-
ons standards. Le voyant LED (2) vert s'allume.
En cas d'anomalies (mauvaise isolation, perte de puissance, végétation importante ...), l'appareil limite
la puissance par un contrôle des impulsions.
Vérification de la prise de terre (5): Provoquez un court-circuit à
une distance d'environ 50m de l'électrificateur avec un piquet en acier
fiché dans la terre en l'appuyant contre la clôture.
Maintenant il ne devrait luire qui 2 lampes au maximum (terre mouillée)
ou 3 lampes au maximum (terre sèche) sinon (voir image)
il faudrait ficher des piquets supplémentaires.
Service: Les réparations ne doivent être faites que par des personnes qualifiées. Utiliser
uniquement les pièces détachées et composants du fabricant.
Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par un câble ou un ensemble
spécial disponible auprès du fabricant ou de son service après vente.

Végétation trop abondante ou court-circuit de la clôture sur un piquet métallique.
L'appareil est défectueux. Au dessous de 3000V pour certains types
d'animaux la sécurité de gardiennage n'est pas garanti.
