Gas in caravan

Use and storage of gas requires caution. Check hoses, tubes and connections before you go on vacation, and read the instru-
ctions before using the gas equipment. In campsites you live close, and there is often much combustible material and many
stoves, grills and other ignition sources. Therefore, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the campsite safety
rules and make sure you have a working smoke detector and fire extinguisher. Remember that propane gas is heavier than air.
Propane tanks should always be upright, and must never be subjected to excessive heat including strong solar heating. Beware
of propane leaks. Gas leaks can make air explosive and can be ignited by sources such as fire, glowing tobacco or electric spark.
Find leaks as soon as possible by brushing concentrated soap water onto hoses and fittings. When the gas pressure is applied
bubbles will form on the leak. Use only hoses for LPG / propane. Cracked or defective hoses must be replaced immediately.
Turn off the gas at the tank when the unit is not in use, and be sure to disconnect the regulator during prolonged absences. It is
recommended to install gas alarm. Always keep the appliance in good condition, but do not attempt to repair any damages or
defects yourself; repairs, periodic servicing/inspections and eventual overhaul of apparatus and equipment should only be pre-
formed by qualified service technicians. Study your fire extinguishing equipment installation and operating instructions carefully
so that you will be properly prepaid to use it in the event of a fire. Ask your dealer if there is anything about which you are unsure.
General safety in Cinderella
Cinderella Motion has several safety features:
The toilet has an electronically controlled burner. Gas supply is controlled by an electric solenoid valve.
A circuit board monitors the combustion and a flame sensor detects if there is a flame in the burner. If the burner does not
light, or if the burner goes out after having been lit the system will make three attempts to ignite the burner. If ignition of the
burner fails, the gas supply will be shut off and an alarm will be signaled using sound and lights. Thus, no unburned gas will
continue to flow into the toilet.
The flame sensor shuts off the gas supply if: -the flame will not light or goes out - there is a back fire in the burner, - the
gas / air ratio is incorrect.
The toilet is designed for extreme temperatures.
The mechanism for dropping the bag of waste into the combustion chamber is electronically controlled.
Sensors monitor that the ash tray is in place and the position of the toilet lid.
The sensor on the ash tray prevents the toilet from being used without the ash tray being in place.
As long as there is heat within the combustion chamber the toilet exhaust fan will run continuously.
The circuit board monitors the fan for errors and if errors are detected it shuts down the burner and gives an alarm signal.
The burner is shut down when the toilet lid is open.
If the temperature inside the toilet cabinet becomes to high, a thermal switch opens and combustion is halted. This switch
must be reset manually before the toilet can be used again. See Troubleshooting: Resetting the thermal switch.
The toilet cabinet is made of a fire retardant composite material.
Combustion is disabled if the ash tray is not in the correct position.
The fan in the toilet is programmed to run until the temperature inside the combustion chamber has cooled down to a
median temperature.
