your shave, the shaver heads [1] may have warmed up and this can feel
unpleasant.
• Try to stretch the skin being shaved using your fingers.
• The rotary shaver will shave more effectively the shorter the beard hair
is.
• If you switch from wet to dry shaving (or vice versa), it may take up to 3
weeks for your skin to get used to the new method.
Shaving with the shaver heads
Before you start shaving, make sure that the shaver is charged (see
section "Charging the battery" on page 32).
1. Make sure that the shaver unit [3] is securely attached to the device.
2. Remove the shaver head protective cover [15] if it is still attached.
3. Press the ON/OFF button
indicator [6] starts to light up and displays the remaining battery life in
percent.
4. Apply a little pressure as you move the shaver heads [1] in circular
motions across the areas of the face to be shaved.
5. When you have shaved all the required areas of your face, switch the
shaver off. Press the ON/OFF button
6. Clean the shaver heads [1] after every shave using the cleaning brush
[14] provided. For thorough cleaning, read section 7 "Cleaning and
maintenance" on page 34.
2-in-1 beard and sideburn styler [12]
The shaver also has an extra 2-in-1 beard and sideburn styler [12] and
a comb attachment [13] (3 mm) to create particularly defined beard and
sideburn styles. To use the 2-in-1 beard and sideburn styler [12], proceed
as follows:
