6.4 Changing the chisel position (Fig. 9)
Insert the tool into the mount as described in
section 5.3 „Inserting the tool".
Turn the operating mode selector switch (3a)
into the position „Change chisel position" as
shown in Fig. 9.
Turn the tool by hand into the required positi-
on.
Return the operating mode selector switch
(3a) into the position „Hammer", then turn the
tool by hand slightly to the left and right until it
latches home.
Warning: During chiseling work, the operating
mode selector switch (3a) must always be in the
position „Hammer".
6.5 Speed control
Infi nitely variable speed control is possible with
the On/Off switch (4a). The further you push the
switch, the higher the speed / blow rate of the
equipment.
The constant electronics keeps the speed, blow
rate and impact energy constant regardless of the
load, thus ensuring smooth performance.
6.6 Limiting the torque
The machine's slip coupling limits the torque. If
the slip coupling overspeeds, the spindle drive
will be interrupted and the tool will stop turning.
Important! In this case turn off the equipment
immediately in order to prevent premature wear to
the equipment.

7. Replacing the power cable

If the power cable for this equipment is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
after-sales service or similarly trained personnel
to avoid danger.

8. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
Always pull out the mains power plug before star-
ting any cleaning work.
8.1 Cleaning
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it with compressed air at low
pressure.
We recommend that you clean the device
immediately each time you have finished
using it.
Clean the equipment regularly with a moist
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these could at-
tack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensu-
re that no water can seep into the device. The
ingress of water into an electric tool increases
the risk of an electric shock.
8.2 Carbon brushes
In case of excessive sparking, have the carbon
brushes checked only by a qualifi ed electrician.
Important! The carbon brushes should not be rep
laced by anyone but a qualifi ed electrician.
8.3 Maintenance
There are no parts inside the equipment which
require additional maintenance.
8.4 Ordering replacement parts:
