Operating Instruction
to the meter, do not apply a voltage higher
than 600V between terminals.

Measuring AC Voltage

1. Connect the black test Iead to the „COM"
terminal and the red test Iead to the „
" terminal.
2. Set the function switch to Ṽ position.
3. Connect the test Ieads across the source
or circuit to bo tested.
4. Read the reading on the display.
Note:
To avoid electrlc shock to you or damages to
the meter, do not apply a valtage higher than
600V between terminals.

Measuring DC Current

1. Set the function switch to the
2. lf the display does not read zero, press
the „ " button for zeroing.
3. Press tha trigger and clamp the jaws
around the conductor to be tested. Make
sure that the jaws are perfectly closed.
Note:
a. Each time only one conductor should
be clamped.
b. The conductor should be in the center
of the jaws in order to get accurate rea-
ding.
c. Don't touch any conductor with hand or
skin.
4. Read the reading on the display.
Note:
1. Remove all the test Ieads from the meter
before using the meter for current mea-
surements.

2. After you set ‚the function switch to the
position, wait about 5 to 10 minutes befo-
re proceeding. lt is necessary for accurate
measurements.
3. The meter's measuring capacity is 100A.
Measuring a current higher than 100A
will cause a larger measurement error.
4. The reading on the displayalso indicates
the current's direction: A positive reading
(negative sign „-" doesn't appear) indica-
tes that the current direction is from the
meter's front to its back. ( Note: Current
direction is the opposite of electron flow
direction.)
5. Don't use the meter to measure a circuit's
current if the circuit's voltage exceeds
600V.
