Temperature
By means of the button 6 you can set the required temperature:
1 = Low temperature
2 = Average temperature
3 = High temperature

Cold shot button
Using the cold shot button 7 you can directly switch to a cool air
flow during use. Irrespective of the initial temperature the appli-
ance quickly produces a cool air flow.
• While drying your hair press the cold shot button and hold it
down as long as you require the cold air flow.
• If you wish to proceed with the warm air flow, release the cold
shot button.

Scope of application

3.1
Drying hair
Select the temperature depending on:
– the temperature sensitivity of the scalp,
– the hair type and the degree of humidity.
3.2
Styling the hair
Image A: for styling the hair, attach the styling nozzle 8 to the
front of the appliance and press until it engages.
Please observe that the styling nozzle (in contrast to the
barrel) heats up due to the hot air flow.
Image B: now the nozzle can be turned into every position on the
appliance without disengaging.
The styling nozzle enables you to concentrate the air flow on
specific sections of hair.
Tip: after you have finished drying and styling the individual sec-
tions of hair, you can use the cold shot button 7 to quickly cool
down the hair sections. This significantly improves the durability
of the hair style.

Cleaning and storage

To ensure perfect functioning and full performance of your Wella
Professionals Sahira light carry out the following cleaning steps
regularly.
DANGER: before cleaning the appliance, always pull out the
mains plug. Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it.
• Only use a slightly moistened cloth for cleaning. Make sure
that no humidity enters the appliance.
• Never use aggressive or abrasive detergents.

Cleaning the appliance
• Image C: always clean the outside of the appliance with only
a slightly moistened cloth.
4.2
Cleaning the protective screen
In the case of low contamination
• Image C: regularly wipe the protective screen 1 from the out-
side using a slightly moistened cloth.
In the case of severe contamination
1. Image D: turn the protective screen 1 to the left and pull it off
the housing.
2. Image E: clean the protective screen under running water.
Leave it to dry completely.
3. Image F: reattach the protective screen and fasten it by turn-
ing it to the right.

Storage
• Image G: using the hang-up loop 4 the Wella Professionals
Sahira light can be stored practically and securely.
Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance
(Danger! Risk of cable break).

Disposal
The product contains electronic components and /
or batteries. Do not dispose of the appliance in
your household rubbish, instead take it to a com-
munal collection site for recycling.

Service
Given the present state of the art, components of electrical appli-
ances are subject to a certain degree of wear over time.
In order to ensure proper functioning and safety of the appli-
ance, a regular check must be performed in accordance with the
country specific legal provisions - though at least once every
2 years.

Two-year guarantee

As manufacturer we offer you a two-year guarantee from the
date of purchase for our products with regard to all deficiencies
which are caused by material or manufacturing errors. If contrary
to expectations a deficiency of this appliance occurs within our
guarantee period, we will, at our discretion, either repair the
faulty product or provide a replacement. These services are only
provided against presentation of the original invoice or receipt.
Keep the receipt for proof of the date of purchase.
Excluded from the warranty are damages caused by incorrect
operation and normal wear and tear. The guarantee obligation is
also void in the case of incorrect interference with the product by
unauthorised persons or use of third-party products during as-
sembly.
Deficiencies which have little significant effect on the value and
serviceability of the appliance are not covered by the guarantee.
Wear parts are excluded from the guarantee.
This manufacturer's guarantee does not affect your contractual
and statutory claims against the vendor. In the case of a claim un-
der the guarantee, please contact the nearest authorised Wella
customer service centre.
