4. Getting started and operation
4.1 Switching on the product
• Slide the On/off switch (4) to the ON
position to switch the speaker on.
• A voice notification confirms that the device
is ready for operation. The LED indicator (8)
lights up blue.
4.2 Switching off the product
• Slide the On/off switch (4) to the OFF
position to switch the speaker off.
• The LED indicator (8) goes out.
Note – Automatic switch-off
• Note that the speaker will automatically
turn off after 10 minutes without
action (no audio playback/no
Bluetooth
function). A corresponding

announcement will play.
4.3 Changing mode
Note – microSD card
• If you switch on the speaker without
having inserted a microSD card, the
speaker is in Bluetooth
• If you have inserted a microSD card,
the speaker is automatically in microSD
mode when you switch it on.
• To switch to Bluetooth
microSD card inserted, press and hold Play/
Pause/Mode (2) for about 3 seconds.
4.4 Audio playback via microSD
• Ensure that the speaker is switched off.
• Insert the microSD card correctly into the
microSD card slot (5).
• Switch on the speaker as described in
4.1 Switching on the product.
