Accuracy of Digital Frequency Readout
a) HM8037 setting:

b) Connect SYNC. OUTPUT (6) to input of
HM8021 Frequency Counter.
c) The max. allowable deviation between the
readings of the HM8037 and the HM8021
is ± 1 digit.
Output amplitude stability

b) Connect Level Meter to OUTPUT(7) of the
HM8037 . Terminate (7) with 600Ω. Measure

by more than ±0.2 dB between 5 Hz and
50 kHz (reference 1kHz)

Output attenuator function
a) HM8037 setting:
(2) FREQUENCY

b) Connect Level Meter to OUTPUT (7). Termi-
nate with 600Ω. Adjust for 1V output
amplitude.
c) Firstly press one button (4) then both
buttons (4) simultaneously. The readings
should be 0.1V and 10mV (± 0.2dB)
respectively.
Maximum output amplitude
a) HM8037 setting:

b) Connect Level Meter to OUTPUT (7).
Terminate with 600Ω.
The output voltage should be min. 1.5V.

Synchronous output function

PUT (7)
c) Connect channel II of oscilloscope to SYNC.
