Troubleshooting

Note:
If the errors cannot be rectified using one of the listed remedies, the Quasar 6 or the relevant
accessory must be examined by an authorised customer service agent or by NEDO.
Error
No laser lines are visible after
switching on the Quasar 6
After switching on the
Quasar 6 , the horizontal
laser line briefly flashes, only
the plumb point is visible, a
sustained bleep is emitted and
the "Rechargeable battery"
LED display lights up
After switching on the
Quasar 6, the laser lines
flash.
Receiver unable to detect any
laser lines
LED charger flashes yellow
LED on charger flashes red
(If charging while laser in use)
Quasar 6 Operating Instructions
Cause
No power supply
Inadequate power supply
Inadequate power supply
Unit outside the self-levelling
range
Receiver is located outside the
working range
Pulse function is switched off.
Rechargeable batteries are
defective
Deep discharge the batteries
Rechargeable batteries are
defective
Remedy
Insert and charge the re-
chargeable battery as specified
(see chapter 6.1 and 6.2)
Charge battery according to
specifications (see chapter 6.2)
Charge battery according to
specifications (see chapter 6.2)
Realign the Quasar 6
within the self-levelling range of
3.5°
(see chapter 7.1 bzw. 7.2)
Ensure receiver is within the
working range
(see operating instructions for
receiver)
Switch on pulse function.
Replace rechargeable batteries
Flashing automatically stops
after a short time or switch off
unit until LED on charger per-
manently lights up red.
LED on charger flashes yellow
after approx. 90 min
Replace rechargeable bat-
teries
