GB Mounting Instructions
TVCCD-302 • TVCCD-304 • TVCCD-306 • TVCCD-308
Black/white subminiature cameras with attached fix focus lens in
4 different mechanical versions:
TVCCD-302 Metal housing with movable mounting bracket, stan-
dard connection jacks
TVCCD-304 Metal housing with movable mounting bracket, lens
with pinhole opening, 4-pole combination connection
TVCCD-306 Built into a motion detector housing for concealment,
wire connections
TVCCD-308 Tilt/pan camera, for concealment built into a wall/
ceiling dome, screw connection with soldering lugs
These cameras are concealed or not concealed according to con-
struction type and are very suitable for the standard monitoring pur-
poses, like use as a door spy, car parking aid, floor surveillance, and
home alarm systems of all kinds. The electrical and optical functions
of all four models are identical.
The special features of these cameras are very high sensitivity,
combined with an automatic gain control (AGC) as well as an excel-
lent picture reproduction. The cameras do not need any adjustments,
the gain is designed for low up to moderate illumination (minimum
approx. 1 Lux).
As a power supply a 12 V DC voltage should be used for the came-
ras, the current consumption is 150 mA or less. In general every elec-
tronically regulated 12 V power supply of at least 150 mA current
rating is suitable, but it is recommended to use the precision power
supply MONACOR PS-12 CCD especially developed for CCD came-
ras.
1 The connections of the cameras
1.1 Model TVCCD-302
1.1.1 Video output
The cinch output jack is connected via a 75 Ω HF cable with one or
several monitors. Watch the correct 75 Ω termination at the monitor
or in case of series connection at the last monitor.
1.1.2 Power supply
The 12 V power supply is connected to the DC jack. The center pin
must be connected with the positive pole.
1.2 Model TVCCD-304
With this camera the complete connection is made via the included
4-pole plug.

Connection 3: ground
Connection 4: video output
1.2.1 Video output
Connect a 75 Ω HF cable to the connections 4 (core) and 3 (screen)
and to one or several monitors. Watch the correct 75 Ω termination at
the monitor or in case of series connection at the last monitor.
1.2.2 Power supply
Connect the 12 V power supply to the connections 1 (+12 V) and 2
(-12 V).
1.3 Model TVCCD-306
After taking off the front cover of the housing, 3 connection wires can
be seen:
Black:
ground for the power supply and video signal
Red:
power supply +12 V
White:
video output
1.3.1 Video output
Connect a 75 Ω HF cable to the wires white (core) and black (screen)
and to one or several monitors. Watch the correct 75 Ω termination at
the monitor or in case of series connection at the last monitor.
1.3.2 Power supply
Connect the 12 V power supply to the connection wires red (+12 V)
and black (-12 V).
1.4 Model TVCCD-308
At the bottom of the dome there are screw connections with soldering
lugs.
1.4.1 Video output
Connect a 75 Ω HF cable to both right screws VIDEO OUT. Watch the
markings of the screws. Connect the core of the coax cable to the
right (+) screw, the screen to the left (-) screw.
The coax cable is connected to one or several monitors. Watch the
correct 75 Ω termination at the monitor or in case of series connec-
tion at the last monitor.
1.4.2 Power supply
Connect the 12 V power supply to the left DC 12 V screw pair. The
positive pole of the power supply is connected to the right (+) screw,
the negative pole to the left (-) screw.
2 Setting into operation
After connection and applying the 12 V supply voltage the cameras
are ready for operation. Due to the fix focus lenses there are no
camera adjustments necessary and possible.
The mechanical construction and the arrangement of the camera
in the monitoring room are different according to model:
2.1 Models TVDDC-302 and TVCDD-304
With the models TVCCD-302 and TVCCD-304 the mounting bracket
is to be mounted at a wall or ceiling. The camera can be moved in the
mounting bracket.
2.2 Model TVCCD-306
The model TVCCD-306 has to be mounted at a wall in a very exact
position as this camera cannot be rearranged any more.
2.3 Model TVCDD-308
The camera TVCCD-308 has internal pan/tilt facilities, by this it can
be mounted at any place. For exact arrangement of the camera the
dome is turned to the left and can then be taken off from the bottom.
Now the camera is aligned by moving, the black cover is placed back
and the dome closed again.
