6- SAFETY FEATURES
6.1 - Inthe loading door
An electro-mechanical safety device prevents the loading door from opening whilst the
appliance is operating,thus preventing access to the inside of the machine and the
consequent danger of injuries to the hands from coming into contact with high
temperatures or from the movement of the drum.
6.2 - In the wash motor
In the event of mechanical underload or overload,a thermal safety device automatically
protects the motor.
6.3 - Heating
Heating of the wash water cannot start until the required water level is reached.
If there is not enough water or the tap is off,the machine stops (the progam does not
move forward).
A safety thermostat prevents excess temperatures.
6.4 - Plumbing.Water inlet
In the event the f ilter clogs.the machine will never overflow,and in the event the pump
m o t o r s u ff e r s a n e l e c t r i c a l m a l f u n c t i o n , t h e f i l l i n g va l v e w i l l n o t wo r k .
6.5 - Child safety
The accesses to the loading door and to the pump motor f ilter are protected against any
accidental handling by children.
7- CONTROLS
STARTING PROCEDEURE (Following the indicated order)
1st - Turn the ON/OFF push button (X) to the ON position.
2nd - Situate the programme selector (P) in the STOP position. (RESET) for about
5".
3rd - Situate the programme selector (P) to the desired programme and ist temperature.
4th - SPress the following buttons: Pre-wash Pr, Super Rinse Y, Anti-crease A, Spin
Cycle V, Full Tub Stop W, and Plus Programme En. If you wish to activate any of these
f u n c t i o n s , t h e s e l e c t e d b u t t o n l i g h t s u p ( ex c e p t t h e S p i n C y c l e b u t t o n ) .
5th - Press the Delay button (T) if you wish to activate this function. The light will
flash only during the delay.
6th - Press the Programmer Start button St-START.
After a few seconds the machine will start and automatically carry out all the selected
operations until the end of the washing cycle.
Once the programme is f inished, END appears in the display.
