Risk of electrical hazard

The product, its control and power cable may not be exposed to any
moisture and may not be immersed in water or other liquids. Risk of
electric shock!
•
Plug the product into a properly installed power outlet with protec-
tive contacts whose voltage complies with the rating provided in this
manual (see "Technical data").
•
Make sure the power outlet is easily accessible so the product may
be unplugged quickly if necessary.
Do not use the electric underblanket if:
– the electric underblanket, power cable, control or plug are
damaged
– the electric underblanket is moist.
•
Fully unravel the power cable before plugging it in. Make sure that
the cable is not damaged by sharp corners or hot objects.
•
Unplug the power cable from the power outlet:
– when the heating function is not in use
– after use
– before cleaning or storing the electric underblanket
– if there is an obvious malfunction during use
– during a thunder storm.
Unplug by pulling the plug, do not tug on the power cable itself.

Do not make any alterations to the product or the connection ca-
ble. Have repairs carried out at a specialist workshop as improperly
repaired devices pose a risk to the user.
•
Only use the provided original power cord to connect the product.
•
Before washing the electric underblanket, remove the control. Wash
the electric underblanket as specified on the tag.
Risk of health hazards
•
Extended use at the highest power level may result in skin irritation.
Risk of accidents
•
Avoid the use of extension cables. Cables lying about pose a tripping
hazard, especially when you have just woken up.
