Safety instructions

Intended use
• The electric underblanket is designed for private household use as
described in this instruction manual.
• The product is not suited for commercial use in hospitals, offices,
retirement homes, etc. The electric underblanket is not a medical
instrument and is not suited for therapeutic purposes.
• Infants, toddlers, dependent persons or those insensitive to heat as
well as animals may not be warmed using the product.
• The electric underblanket may be used as underbedding only. The
product is not suited for use as a cover. Use the product beneath a
bed cover only, not in direct physical contact.
• The electric underblanket may not be used on a waterbed.
• The electric underblanket may not be used on a cot.
• Use the product in dry indoor areas only.
Danger for children and relevant persons
• This appliance may be used by children over 8 years of age and
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of
the appliance and understand the hazards involved. Children may not
clean or maintenance the product without adult supervision.
• Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the
device.
• Children below the age of three may not use the product as they are
unable to react to overheating.
• The product may not be used by persons sensitive to heat nor by
other dependent persons unable to react to overheating.
• The electric underblanket may not be used by persons who suffer
from enuresis (bedwetting).
