Care must be taken when cleaning that no water gets into the battery. The
electrical components are sealed, nevertheless we strongly advise against hosing
down the bicycle or cleaning it using a high pressure cleaning device. This could
result in damage.
When wiping the battery, care must be taken not to touch and bridge over the
contacts on the underside. This could lead to the battery switching off.

10. Warning notices

The Pedelec works on a low voltage (26 volts). Never attempt to operate
the Pedelec with a voltage source other than the matching original battery.
Live parts can be exposed when opening covers or removing parts.
Connections may also be live. Only the dealer may carry out maintenance
or repair work on the opened device when it is live.
Care must be taken that no cables are crushed or damaged by sharp edges
when carrying out adjustments or maintenance, or when cleaning the Pedelec.
If it is suspected that safe operation is no longer possible, the Pedelec must
be switched off and secured against accidental switching on until it has been
checked by the dealer. Safe operation is normally no longer possible if
conducting parts or the battery exhibit visible signs of damage.
Keep electrical devices away from children. Exercise particular caution in
the presence of children, especially if they attempt to insert objects into
devices through openings in the housing. There is a risk of a life-threatening
electric shock.
