If the motor does not run and you cannot find the cause, please check the
buttons, cables and connectors of the electrical system.
If you find a breakage or tear, do not attempt to rectify the fault yourself!
Take your Pedelec to a dealer.
Fault finding
Have your electric drive checked by your dealer at regular intervals.
Do not carry out any work yourself on the electric drive or the battery.
A lack of professional knowledge could lead to serious accidents. As a matter of
principle, always consult your dealer if you have a problem with the electric drive
or the battery.
Have electrical parts of your Pedelec replaced only by original spare parts.
This is for your own safety and prevents warranty problems in the event of damage.

8. Tips on removing the front wheel

Since the motor is built into the front wheel, the following steps must be observed
before removing or refitting the front wheel:
1.
Remove the battery from the Pedelec.
2. Using a 3 mm Allen key, unscrew the two small
Allen screws (turn them anticlockwise) on the
plastic cover on the left on the front wheel.
Keep them in a safe place.
Pull the cover off the fork to the left.
3. Under the cover you will see two cable connectors,
a white one and a green one. Both connectors must
be opened and pulled apart.

4. In order to open the white connector, press on the
angled surface marked with an arrow using a
pointed object (end of a key, ballpoint pen).
Whilst pressing the surface backwards, you can pull
the two halves of the connector apart.
5. In order to open the green connector, you must
push a flat, pointed object (small screwdriver, end of
a small key) under the small tab. Whilst lifting the
tab, you can pull the two halves of the connector
apart.
6. Using a 5 mm Allen key, unscrew the two Allen
screws on the left behind the fork.
To do this, turn them anticlockwise.
Important:
when refitting the front wheel, these screws must
be tightened to a maximum torque of 9.5 Nm.
7.
Now you can begin with the removal of the
front wheel.
8. After refitting the front wheel, these steps must be
carried out in the reverse order. Your Pedelec will
then work as before.
The removal and refitting of the front wheel are described in detail in the enclosed
bicycle technical instruction manual. You will also find all other bicycle technical
information on your Pedelec in this manual.
