Function Testing

Warning device
Operation of the warning device can be checked by performing a LED and relay
test.
To start the function test, press and hold the "ALARM RESET" button for about
3 seconds:
1. the control unit switches to test mode,
2. each LED lights up in turn for 1 second,
3. both relays are activated in turn for 1 second,
4. the acoustic signal then sounds and the
5. warning device returns to the current status.
Overflow sensor
Warning!
Danger of burning
The sensor tip is hot.
Do not touch.
Checking the normal status
1. Remove the sensor from oil/petrol separator.
2. Wash and dry the sensor.
3. Suspend the sensor freely in air.
Checking the alarm situation
Immerse the sensor in liquid (the switching point must be immersed).
The red "OVERFLOW ALARM" LED lights and, if applicable, an acoustic
signal sounds.
The green "SYSTEM OK" LED on the warning device flashes or lights up.
