Make sure that the spokes are facing inwards. Photo 28.
• Make sure that the Latinique brake is on.
• In the rear axel brackets, left and right, there is an opening for the
Quickstep. Click the Quickstep into these holes in the rear axel. Photo 29.
• The Quickstep can be adjusted in two lengths. This adjustment enables
your child to stand on the Quickstep at the right distance from the
seatunit or carrycot. On the left and right there are two buttons (springs).
When these buttons are pressed in you can adjust the distance of the
child's platform to the Latinique.
• If you are not using the Quickstep you can clip it up out of the way.
Extend the Quickstep to the longest position. There is a loop under the
child's platform. Turn the loop forwards and hang this on the hook on the
Latinique frame. Photo 31.
• You can remove the Quickstep from the Latinique frame by pressing
the two buttons on the left and right of the rear axel; this will release the
Quickstep from the Latinique frame. Photo 29.
WARNING: check that the spring buttons are securely clicked in the
notches and that the Quickstep is locked into its extended position. Do not
use other ride-along boards, only use the Quickstep for carrying a second
child as this is specially designed for the Latinique.
FOOTMUFF (OPTIONAL)
The footmuff is supplied together with a storage bag. You can zip off the
top of the footmuff. This creates a soft fleece "lining" even if you don't want
to use the whole footmuff.
• Pass the 5 straps of the 5-point safety harness through the
corresponding slots in the footmuff. You can use the 5-point safety
harness in the same way as described in the "5-point safety harness"
section.
• The footmuff also enables you to use the 5-point safety harness at
different heights. See the "5-point safety harness" section above.
• On the rear of the footmuff you will find pressbuttons. These pressbuttons
correspond to the pressbuttons in the seatunit. Click the pressbuttons on
the footmuff to the pressbuttons in the seatunit of the Latinique.
WARNING: your child should always be secured in the 5-point safety
16
harness, with all buckles fastened, even if your child can sit up unaided.
NURSERY BAG (OPTIONAL)
The nursery bag has an adjustable shoulder strap, a thermo compartment,
a moisture-resistant lining and has numerous storage compartments.
Attached to the shoulder strap are a name badge and a hook that you can
attach some thing to, such as your keys. The changing mat is included.
• Use the plastic clasp to adjust the length of the shoulder strap.
WARNING: never hang the nursery bag over the pushbar. This will reduce the
stability and durability of your pushchair and may cause it to tip backwards.
Use the shopping basket at the base of the Latinique between the wheels.
ADAPTER SET MAXI COSI (OPTIONAL)
The Maxi Cosi adapter set has been specially developed for the Latinique
and is only to be used with the Maxi Cosi Cabrio and City. The adapter set
consists of four plastic parts. Please read the instructions for use for your
Maxi Cosi carefully. Do not make any adjustments to the Maxi Cosi while
your child is in it.
Before using the adapter you must slide the plastic parts together. The
parts are clearly marked left and right. Slide the two left-hand parts
together. Do the same for the right-hand parts. Photo 32.
• Stand behind the Latinique as if you were going to push it and make
sure that the Latinique brake is on.
• Place the left-hand adapter in the Central Lock on the left side of the
frame. Do the same for the right-hand adapter. Photo 33.
• Adjust the Maxi Cosi carrying handle to the carrying position and push
the Maxi Cosi onto the adapter. Check that the Maxi Cosi is securely
fitted to the adapter both left and right. Photo 34. Adjust the carrying
handle if required to the head end.
• When you want to remove the Maxi Cosi again from the Latinique, place
the carrying handle in the carrying position and hold the carrying handle
with one hand and push the Maxi Cosi adjusting button on one side. Lift
the Maxi Cosi a little from the adapter. Next, press the adjusting button
on the other side and lift the Maxi Cosi up away from the adapter.
• Take the adapter off the frame before folding up the Latinique.
