MAINS CONNECTION:

Before plugging the appliance into the
mains supply, check that the voltage
corresponds with that stated on the
characteristics plate. The use of an earthed
socket is recommended.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Read these instructions carefully. Safeguard
them for future reference.
The toaster can get very hot when it is
operating. Do not touch the hot surfaces.
use the handles.
Bread can catch � re. Toasters must not
be used near or below curtains or other
� ammable materials. Do not leave them
unattended.
Do not let children handle the appliance.
Do nt use the appliances outdoors.
Never cover the toaster over with kitchen
foil or anything similar, or insert any object
through the grill.
Never place objects on top of the toast rack.
Never immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquid.

Keep the toaster away from any sources of
heat. Never leave the able hanging freely,
nor allow it to come into contact with hot
surfaced.
Never lay the toaster on its side while it is
still switched on.
Do not use the toaster in the crumb tray if
not � tted correctly.
This appliance has been designed
exclusively for domestic use. This appliance
must only be used for the purposes for
which it was designed.
Do not switch the appliance on if either
the cable or plug are damaged, if it can be
detected that it is not operating correctly or
if it has suff ered any type of damage. Cable
repairs and replacements must be carried
out exclusively by an authorized technical
service centre.
Caution:
Never � ll the rack completely with bread,
leave a free space of 1 cm between the
slices.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

When switching the toaster on for the � rst
time, set the toaster to its maximum setting
but without any bread in it. Do this twice
ir order to burn off any residual smells. To
switch it on, set the timer to the desired
position and press the ON switch (1). The
pilot lamp will light up, indicating that the
appliance is working. when it reaches the
set time, the appliance will automatically
switch itself off , along with the pilot lamp
and a buzzer will sound.
Toasting can be interrupted at any time by
pressing the OFF switch (2).
