5 Use
5.1 Coupling before use
• Connect the hoses of the tool to be controlled to the outlet air couplings (see Fig. 2/5) of the SCV
(DCV) 10 U.
• Connect the hose of the max. 8 bar compressed air source to the inlet air coupling
(see Fig. 2/4) of the SCV (DCV) 10 U.
The control unit is now ready for use.
5.2 Use
• The SCV (DCV) 10 U consists of three-way valves with automatic return to their "0" positions.
• The tool is filled with air by depressing the "+" push-button (see Fig. 2/1).
• The tool is depressurized via the discharge filter (part below outlet coupling, Fig 2/5) by depressing
the "-" push-button (see Fig. 2/2).
• The control unit is protected against overpressure by one pressure relief valve (part is not shown,
safety valve is located internally). This allows air to be relieved at a set pressure of approx. 8.5 bar.
• The pressure gauges indicate the compressed air pressure of the tool.
5.3 Disconnecting after use
• Release all air from the tool and hoses by depressing the "-" push-button.
• All hoses can be disconnected when there is no more air to be relieved.

Troubleshooting

6.1 General
Consult the Holmatro dealer if the listed solutions do not give the desired result, or in case of other
problems.
For malfunctions or repair, always specify the model and serial number of the equipment.
6.2 Control unit does not work

The compressed air source is faulty.
The connections are faulty.
6.3 The system leaks air

The pressure relief valve is faulty.
The connections are faulty.

Solution
Check the compressed air source.
Check that the connections are properly fitted.
Solution
Check the pressure. Have the pressure relief valve
reset if it shows leakage when the pressure is too
low.
Check the connections of the hoses to the
couplings. Refit, if necessary.
Check the connections between the couplings
themselves.
