The stove output depends on the negative pressure level inside the chimney. Excessive
negative pressure should be reduced by means of a flue damper, to ensure normal adjustment
of the heat output by means of air controls.
Certain experience is required for proper use of the air (output) controls. Therefore, please read
carefully our instructions, to learn how to operate your stove.
How to use the air controls:

While reloading the firebox, relevant air control shall always be fully open until bright fire has
developed. (Relevant air control means secondary air control for wood and primary air control
for brown coal briquettes).
When the fire has blazed-up and the stove has warmed up, select the air control position that
suits you best. If fuel wood with a humidity content over 20% is used, shift the primary air control
to the right for 1-2 graduation lines.
During regular operation, the primary air supply control should not be fully open, in order to
avoid stove overheating and damage.
Keeping the ember alive overnight
Place 2-4 pieces of brown coal briquettes on the ember bed. Wait until the fuel blazes-up. Then
set both air controls to the minimum.
