4) Connect the Gigabit Ethernet/LAN ports of your desktop computer via standard CAT5 cables to the LAN ports on the back of the Stage Router Pro.
5) Connect the network port of your digital mixer to one of the LAN ports on the rear panel of the Stage Router Pro: We recommend using the
LAN 4 port.
6) If you want to connect to the Internet via the Stage Router Pro: Connect the WAN port on the rear panel of the Stage Router Pro to a port with
Internet connectivity (e.g. DSL modem).
7) If required, connect an external storage device to the USB 2.0 port on the back panel of the unit.
8) Turn on both devices and check the status: If the connection is valid, the CPU, PWR and WAN LEDs as well as the LEDs corresponding to the
USB and LAN ports in use should light up or flash blue.
Setting up the connection between the computer and the Stage Router Pro
In order to operate the Stage Router Pro as a wireless access point, the device must be configured via a computer. For the initial setup, we recom-
mend connecting the Stage Router Pro and the computer via their LAN ports. Once the computer and the Stage Router Pro are connected, set
the network settings accordingly. The next section lists the mandatory settings for Windows Vista/7, Windows 8 or higher as well as for Mac OS X
10.8 or higher.

Windows Vista/7:

Click on Start and choose Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network connections.
Right-click the Local Area Connection in the Network connections screen and choose Properties.
Double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) in the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box.
Click the Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically check boxes in the next Internet Protocol
Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties dialog box.
Click OK and then click Close in the following dialog box.
Windows 8 and higher:
Click on Start and choose Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings.
Right-click the Connections link in the Network screen and choose Properties.
Double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) in the Connection Properties dialog box.
Click the Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically check boxes in the next Internet Protocol
Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties dialog box.
Click OK and then click Close in the following dialog box.
