2.5 Use of master switch

If a master switch is fitted once this has been switched on steer-
ing is only possible with the master handle (handle 1).
Handle 1 is the handle which is connected to input J6.

2.6 Use of an autopilot

In order to use an autopilot the power to the Follow-Up
steering system must be switched on!
If the autopilot has been connected correctly as shown in
the wiring diagram it has the highest priority of the operating
systems.
Therefore, whenever the autopilot is switched on it will always
immediately take over the controls. This will occur whether or not
a Follow-Up or a non-Follow-Up steering system is switched on.
When the autopilot is switched off the previous operating sys-
tem will take over.
In the case of the Follow-Up system this is the last active handle.

2.7 Use of non-Follow-Up controls (Joystick)

In order to use a Joystick the power to the Follow-Up steer-
ing system must be switched on!
If the non-Follow-Up system has been connected correctly as
shown in the wiring diagram it only has a higher priority than
the Follow-Up system.
Therefore, whenever the non-Follow-Up system is switched on
it will take over the controls immediately unless an autopilot is
switched on.
When the non-Follow-Up system is switched off the last active
handle of the Follow-Up system will take over.
