Establish Connection to PC
The web-interface can be operated using any readily
available operating system, such as Windows, Linux,
OS X ..., and functions with all known and current
browser.
To display the web-interface, the PC can be con-
nected directly to the controller or through a joint
network. For the direct connection, both crossover or
standard cables may be used; the controller recog-
nizes the cable type and establishes the correspond-
ing connection.
In order to use the web-interface, both the controller
as well as the browser must be prepared in such a
way, that a TCP/IP-connection can be built between
them.
In particular, both the controller as well as the PC,
need a fixed IP-address and not an automatically
selected address (DHCP must be disabled on the
PC). Both addresses must be located in the same
net-segment (Subnet).
